|
Starting at the Nerima interchange,
take the Kanetsu Expressway (toll route) for 103 km
then exit at the Shibukawa-Ikaho interchange. Take Route
353.145 in the direction of Naganohara (Ootsu). Take
R292 for approx. 10km to arrive in Kusatsu.

Starting at the Nerima interchange,
take the Kanetsu Expressway (toll route) for 80km, then
at Fujioka junction take the Joshin'etsu Expressway,
continuing until the Usui Karuizawa interchange. Take
Route 18, heading for Karuizawa, then take Route 146.292
for about 43km to arrive in Kusatsu.

From JR Ueno station, take
the New Express Kusatsu for 150 minutes and get off
at Naganohara Kusatsu-guchi station. Then take the JR
bus to Kusatsu for 25 minutes.

From JR Tokyo station, take
the shinkansen bound for Nagano and get off at Karuizawa
after approx 1 hour. Then take the Kusatsu Bus or the
Seibu Kogen Bus for Kusatsu for 1-2 hours.

From JR Shinjuku Minami-guchi
station, take the JR Kanetsu Express Bus "Joshu
Yumeguri Go" for 3 hours 40 minutes direct to Kusatsu.

From Osaka, Nagoyac |
|
From the Suita Interchange,
take the Meishin Expressway (toll route) for 168km then
change to the Chuo Expressway at Komaki Junction. Continue
for approx 216km, then exit at the Sudama interchange.
Take Route 141 towards Saku. Then take Route 18 to Naka
Karuizawa, Route 146 to Naganohara, then Route 292 to
arrive at Kusatsu.

From Komaki Junction take
the Chuo Expressway (toll route) to Okaya Junction,
or the Nagano Vehicle Expressway (toll route) to Okaya
Interchange. Then take Route 142 towards Saku. Continue
as above.

From JR Shin Osaka Station
take the Tokaido Shinkansen to Tokyo or Ueno. Then continue
as for Tokyo.

From JR Nagoya Station take
the Special Express "Shinano" to JR Nagano
Station. Take the Nagano Shinkansen to Karuizawa. Then
board the Kusatsu Bus or the Seibu Kogen bus for Kusatsu
for 1-2 hours.

From the Suzaka Nagano Higashi
Interchange, take the Joshin'etsu Expressway (toll
route) to the Uedasugadaira Interchange. Then take
the general Route 144 to Naganohara. Take Route 292
for 10km and arrive at Kusatsu.

Nagano City take Route 406, then change to Route 403
at Suzaka. At Yudanaka take Route 292, and head towards
Mount Shirane via Shigakogen. Continue to arrive at
Kusatsu (road closed in winter).
