Kirishimaya Ryokan is fully equipped with go and shogi equipment and is the perfect place for a game! Our ryokan may be located in the center of a hot spring town, but it is also adjacent to Kakoiyama Park, containing Shirane Shrine, Suwa Shrine, Mitsumine Shrine etc. It is on a slope in a bright location receiving tranquil sunlight, and has an excellent view.The go and shogi room used to be the archery dojo, so we are confident it will be perfect for our go and shogi playing guests. As you all know by now Kusatsu Hot spring is a spring containing highly acidic hydrogen sulfate alums and copperas and has been famous since olden times for its medicinal benefits, so we are confident you can have a thoroughly enjoyable and satisfying stay. From the windows of every room, you can see cherry blossoms and azaleas in spring, crimson foliage in autumn and snowy landscapes in winter. You can also see Japanese primroses (kurinso)- a rare plant found in high mountains, lady slipper (atsumoriso), skunk cabbage (mizubasho), light moss (hikarigoke) etc in front of the entrance hall. We offer a free lunch service for all groups of over ten guests! (Particularly suitable for our go and shogi playing guests)
